iCloud is brilliant for backing up photos. If you lose your phone, you still have your photos. You may need to purchase more space rather than delete photos.

You can take a normal size image, square image or panoramic image (1). Choose these from the scrolling bar near the shutter button on your phone.

Tap the screen (2), wherever you want the focus. Ie. When taking a portrait, tap near the eyes.

Tap and hold the sun and swipe up or down along the line (appears when you have tapped) to change the exposure (3).

An app called Manual is used for getting more creative and having more control. It allows you to set shutter speed (ensure things are sharp if they are moving, or blurry if you want them to be), aperture

VSCO, Snapseed and Camera+ are other apps, great for editing your photos on your phone. Lots of control and decisions to make (if you want to) along with a line-up of filters.

Work out what camera you need (majority of time) for what you want to photograph. Let me know what you have chosen and why on Facebook. Tell us what sort of photos you plan to take with it.

While you are in Facebook, let us know what you photograph and why. Let's see where and what everyone is doing.
