How do I know the photos will be good?

I'm an accredited professional photographer with Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP). They are the Australian photographic body. I have won numerous State and National Awards in their annual awards. I have been photographing professionally since 1998. I have owned heidi who photos since 2004.

Is a photo shoot with a pro worth it?

Of course! And I'm not saying that just because I am a photographer. Our websites and social media outlets are our shopfronts now - make them look good. When was the last time you really wanted to buy something from a messy, generic, confusing or boring store? People have so much choice through the web - it's well and truly world-wide now - so give them a reason to stay. Tell them your story.

People only have a limited attention span with all the information overload we receive now. You have to get their attention within seconds. 'A photograph tells a thousand words'.

what about 'bang for buck'?

Yes. I have been in business for over 10 years with many repeat customers. I accept bank transfer, Paypal or cash (that is very rare these days). And if you are not happy, let me know, and I'll make sure you are - whatever way I can.

but, I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

As the old saying goes, 'you get what you pay for'. I realise some people charge a lot less, but as a professional I offer

Security and peace of mind that you will get images that 'wow'

Licencing and copyright options

Video, social media content, contact sheets, retouching, archiving, back ups. I don't guarantee my backups but I do keep at least two backups of your purchased images. I have had a client ring me after a few years asking if I could help with lost images - and I was able to.

Over 10 years experience

Specialisaton and knowledge in working on location, with talent and everday people

Experience in photogrpahing on the fly, with people I have just met - making them feel at ease and have fun

What experience do you have?

I have over 10 years experience in business.

Prior to owning my own business I worked with a wedding studio, school photo studio, worked with guests on an international cruise liner in the Greek Islands and on the road photographing kids in malls in SA, NT, VIC and NSW in Australia.

I worked with News Limited and photographed events, portraits, news stories and Commonwealth Games among other advertorials, editorials and associated imagery for the newpapers and magazines.

I have worked with a number of magazines in Australia. This requires me to think on my feet, develop rapaul with my subject within minutes, think creatively to come up with options for layout within a short amount of time.

I rarely work with models - I know people, I understand them and make them comfortable having their photo taken. To you, this means cost reduction in talent fees.

What do you differently?

Have fun! Why shouldn't a shoot be fun to organise and do. It will make for the best results, when everyone is having fun and relaxed. Talent love it, and people not used to being photographed often forget about the camera. True smiles.

I listen to what you need - then offer suggestions if needed. Get the best results for your $.

I use real talent as often as possible. I know how to make them comfy in front of the lens, we laugh, we create realistic moments that your clients will believe (likely because they are real).

I'm not sure what I need, can you help?

Definitely. Let me know what you think you want. Show me what you have. I'll take a gander at your website. Work out a budget. Then we will go from there. I'll make it work.

I know what I want, but not sure how long it will take?

Tell me more. And I'll give you a guesstimate and the options that will affect the time and shoot length. Need it in concrete? I can do that too - let's do it. Whatever works for you. Let's make it as easy as possible.

Can you help with talent?

Yes. I can put a call out on social media, and help you to do it too. A little freebie for potential talent doesn't hurt either.
