Lush Pastures

A few weeks back I photographed Lush Pastures at Yankalilla... these are some of the fun shots from the shoot.  If anyone wants a relaxing, romantic, rejuvenating weekend away, LP is only an hour away from Adelaide. Sitting on top of hills, looking over the ocean, just out of Yankalilla you can see kangaroos, foxes and all sorts of wild life.

@ Lush Pastures

I was fortunate enough over the weekend to go down south of Adelaide (South Australia) to Bald Hills and shoot a boutique property, Lush Pastures. We went down for the night, and were treated like guests. And may I mention, guests are treated like royalty. Fully hosted accommodation by Cheryl and Andy Lush, with a whole range of home grown produce and locally sourced wines to match. Mmm. And don't forget Cheryl's liquers for after dinner.

Cheryl is a dynamite in the kitchen... nothing seems too difficult. From Banana Caramel Cake to Curry soup - and everything in between. Delicious.

Three modern lodges sit atop a hill, overlooking more rolling hills out to the ocean. A comfy place to watch the sun set.

A picnic basket can be arranged, to have lunch down near the dam, in a paddock or wherever your wanders take you. 

Pick your own! A veggie patch, herb garden, and fruit trees await.Home grown figs. Tasty.
